Upon discovering that I would not be granted my life’s dream of becoming a mother, I did the next best thing. I went to college for three years to obtain a diploma in Early Childhood Education, then ran a daycare for 7 years. That has been the most fun of my life … but … it left me feeling literally heart-broken when my little ones went off to school full time. I knew I could no longer continue on this path. After a little consideration it was clear that opening a Scrapbook Store was the answer for me. I started scrapbooking and card making 8 years ago and my connection was immediate! I feel blessed that I found a location for my store here in the Comox Valley where we live. I know many, many moms and kids and now look forward to meeting the crafters in this great town!

I have been blessed with three sons and a handsome husband and I don’t know how but they grow cuter day by day. I love to scrapbook and journal about our moments together. To me scrapbooking is all about family. I keep busy with family albums, son albums, event albums and of course mini albums for relatives. I’ve got to share my cuties! Scrapbooking is a lot of fun, it is addictive and it’s a great way to share memories with those you love!

I am from a very artsy and crafty family and I needed a craft to call my own so I started to make cards. At first it was just Christmas cards and the occasional birthday card but after mass producing wedding invitations, birth announcements and party invitations I am hooked on making unique and memorable keepsake cards. One of my favorite kind of card making is with a paper technique called Iris Folding and this produces a beautiful, inexpensive gift that many of my friends actually frame! I also love to make other handmade items such as the handmade journal which is the icing on the cake for a truly perfect mini scrapbook. I look forward to meeting you and sharing a laugh or two!

I've been an avid scrapbooker and papercrafter for about 4 years now, and it truly is my passion. I started out by working with my sister on her wedding album and haven't looked back since! I also work as a graphic designer for a newspaper here in Comox, which helps my creativity in scrapbooking! I live with my boyfriend, Brandon, and our three fur babies. Our chihuahua, Jack, and two cats, Hope and Shady. They are all constant fixtures on my scrap pages and you'll see them all up around the store. I love trying new things and figuring out new techniques to use in both layouts and cards, and can't wait to share my ideas with all of you. See you in the store!
